It was quite a while since I desperately looked for the perfect sleep deprivation treatment that works! Each of you who have trouble with sleeping would agree with me that finding the right solution is so essential.

Sleep deprivation leads to drowsiness throughout the day which could prove harmful. Drowsiness is very lethal while driving. Most of the accidents that occur are either due to drunken driving or sleepy drivers. Lack of sleep also affects our judgment making skills and causes a lot of problem at our workplace.
Stress and night shift jobs are the main causes for insomnia. Stress could be due to pressure at the workplace or at home as well. It could also be due to depression. Night shift jobs are getting more common these days, and they cause havoc with our body clock. It’s very important to get a good sleep routine in place if you have night shift to do.
So how do we get enough sleep when our mind refuses to sleep? There are various solutions suggested that allow our body and mind to relax. A calm mind can fall asleep much easier!
1. Go to bed the same time every night. You need to keep you sleep time routine punctual and stick to it.
2. Avoid smoking, alcohol and caffeinated drinks at night.
3. Avoid a heavy dinner.
4. Avoid harsh lighting and loud sounds in your bedroom.
5. Try going to bed a little earlier than usual every night. This could help you to get some extra time to fall asleep, assuring you of a longer night!
In an attempt to get more sleep most people tend to over sleep in the morning or spend more time on bed. But these measures usually don’t work; rather they have the opposite effect. Insomnia if not treated early, could lead to a chronic stage which would require medical help.
